Welcome to Wall’s Contracting. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the professional services we provide across the Greater Toronto Area. By engaging with our site or services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of Services
Wall’s Contracting specializes in the supply and installation of premium exterior systems, including but not limited to Aluminum Longboard, Custom Metal Siding, ACM Panels, and Standing Seam Roofing. All project scopes are defined by the individual written estimate provided to the client.
2. Estimates and Consultations
Accuracy: Estimates are based on visible site conditions. Any unforeseen structural issues discovered during the removal of old cladding may result in additional costs, which will be discussed via a Change Order.
3. Payment Terms
Deposits: A commencement deposit is required to secure your project in our schedule and to order custom-fabricated materials (such as ACM or Custom Metal).
Progress Payments: For larger residential projects, progress payments may be required at specific milestones (e.g., material delivery, 50% completion).
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due immediately upon the completion of the installation and a final walkthrough.
4. Material Characteristics & Variations
Premium Wood Siding: As an organic material, natural wood siding may have variations in grain, color, and knots. These are not considered defects but characteristics of a premium natural product.
Metal Thermal Expansion: Our systems are engineered to account for thermal expansion; however, minor “oil-canning” (slight waviness) is an inherent characteristic of some metal panels and is not a structural defect.
5. Worksite Access and Safety
Clients must provide clear access to the work area, including space for scaffolding and material storage. For the safety of our crew and your family, we request that the immediate work zone remain clear of pedestrians and pets during active construction hours.
6. Warranty and Liability
Workmanship: We provide a dedicated warranty on our installation labor, the duration of which is specified in your project contract.
Materials: Product warranties (e.g., Longboard finish or Metal coil warranties) are provided directly by the manufacturers.
Liability: Wall’s Contracting is fully insured and WSIB-compliant. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities or landscaping not clearly marked by the homeowner prior to commencement.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Because many of our products (ACM, Custom Metal, Longboard) are custom-ordered or fabricated to your home’s specific dimensions, deposits for custom materials are non-refundable once the order has been processed.
